Remember that fun game you used to play called Battleship? The one where you try to sink all your opponent's ships? Well during our Daily 5 Word Work time, my students have been trying to 'sink' their opponent's words by guessing where they're written on the grid!
Students took the week's spelling list and wrote words all over their grid page.
Then they took turns calling out coordinates. The first one to 'sink' their opponent's words wins!
